These days the prices of petrol and diesel are touching the sky, due to which people are facing a lot of trouble. Due to this, the attraction towards electric vehicles has increased a lot in the Indian market nowadays. Hyderabad’s electric vehicle company Automobile Private Limited has come up with a great electric bike. The name of this electric bike is Atum 1.0. The Atum 1.0 is an International Center for Automotive Technology (ICAT) approved low-speed electric bike. No registration or driving license is required to drive this electric bike. The Atum 1.0 electric bike has been designed keeping in mind the needs of the Indian customers. The company is producing this bike at its manufacturing unit located in Greenfield, Telangana. The company has a production capacity of 15,000 vehicles per year.

Atum 1.0 Electric Motor, Range and Battery Pack

The battery given in this bike takes 3.5 hours to be fully charged. The Atum 1.0 electric bike uses a portable lithium-ion battery. This bike can be charged from the three-pin plug installed in the house. Talking about the range of this bike, once fully charged, this bike can run up to 100 kilometers. Also, it takes 1 to 1.5 units of electricity to fully charge the battery. That is, charging this bike will cost you 7 to 11 rupees. The company has given a two-year warranty on the motor used in this bike. The battery has a 3 year warranty. Its boot space is also 14 liters. The weight of the battery pack given in it is only 6 kg. The company claims that this bike will prove effective in reducing the rising price of petrol and pollution.

No License Required

One thing to note here is that this bike is a good option for city travel. Atum 1.0 bike can be used by adults and children as well. Which is completely Made in India. While Revolt is currently active only in the electric bike segment in India, the arrival of this company may help people make a choice. However, the price of Revolt’s bike is quite high. The Atum 1.0 is introduced by the International Center for Automotive Technology as a low speed bike, making it perfect for commercial use. To buy this bike, neither you will need its registration nor will the person driving it need a license.

Atum 1.0 Design

A design patent was also issued for the best-in-class storage capacity afforded by the Atum 1.0. The conventional fuel tank shaped storage box gives an added allure to the e-bike which is going down well with its target audience. The company has used 20X4 fat bike tires in the Atum 1.0 electric bike. Apart from this, indicators and tail lights have also been provided with low seat and LED headlight. This bike has a fully digital display. It took about 3 years to make this bike. Lithium battery has been used in this bike.

Atum 1.0 Features

The seating offered in the Atum 1.0 is best suited for both young and old riders. The high ground clearance of the Atum bike makes it comfortable to ride on any type of road. It is quite easy to operate this bike as there is no need to visit regular service center for this. Being light in weight, it can be used by riders of all ages. Due to the safe movement, it is more comfortable and comfortable.

Atum 1.0 Warranty

Talking about the warranty, the company gives a warranty of two years with the motor of this bike, three years of warranty is available on the battery. Smooth resolution, quick service and availability of spare parts make this bike a great deal. The boot space of this bike is 14 liters.

Atum 1.0 Rivals

It seems that this bike from Atumobile can compete with Revolt’s RV400 electric bike.

Atum 1.0 Price

The company has kept the base price of this electric bike at Rs 50,000.
