Luxury car maker BMW has launched its new BMW M8 Coupe Competition in India. It will also be BMW’s most expensive special edition ever. The engine is very powerful even in the limited edition M8 Competition 50 Jahr M variant. The car comes with Comfort, Sport and Sport Plus modes for better driving experience. To celebrate the ongoing 50th anniversary of the M division of the brand, the manufacturer has launched the ZEERE M Special Edition range. , it has already been introduced in M340i, 630i M Sport, 530i M Sport, M4 Competition, X7 40i M Sport and X4 M Sport. At the same time, BMW will introduce three more 50 Zaheer M Editions in India in the coming times.
BMW M8 Coupe Competition Powertrain
The BMW M8 Competition 50 Zahere M Edition continues with the same 625hp, 750Nm, 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine as standard. Paired with an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission, the special edition M8 can accelerate from 0-100kph in just 3.2 seconds. It is equipped with adaptive suspension, xDrive all-wheel drive system and three driving modes – Comfort, Sport and Sport+.
BMW M8 Coupe Competition Exterior
The BMW M8 Competition 50 Zaire M Edition is available in four new BMW individual paint colors – Daytona Beach Blue, Frozen Brilliant White, Frozen Marina Bay Blue, Frozen Deep Green and Frozen Deep Grey. Other highlights of the special edition model include gloss black kidney grille, 20-inch black alloy wheels with red brake calipers and M Sport exhaust system.


The automaker is also offering a carbon exterior package as standard on the M8 Competition 50 Venom M Edition which includes carbon-fibre finished front bumper, side air intake, exterior mirror cap, rear spoiler and rear diffuser. According to BMW, these parts help reduce the M8’s weight and aerodynamic drag, further enhancing its overall handling. Like the previous Special Editions, the car also gets an additional M badge on the front and hub caps inspired by BMW Motorsport’s early races.
BMW M8 Coupe Competition Interior
This special edition car is very similar to the standard car. 50 Poison M Edition’s updated features include an xDrive all-wheel-drive system and adaptive suspension. The cabin of the BMW M8 gets leather merino upholstery and an Alcantara anthracite-finished headliner. The feature list is similar to that of the standard M8 competition, including a 12.3-inch digital driver display and infotainment system, ambient lighting, Harman Kardon sound system and wireless Apple CarPlay.

Safety features in the car include DSC, DTC, anti-lock braking system, six airbags, electric parking brake with auto hold, electronic vehicle immobilizer, crash sensor, side impact protection, attention assistance and ISOFIX child seat anchors.
