Nissan offers its sub-4m SUV in six trims: XE, XL, XV Executive, XV, XV Premium and XV Premium (O). The Red Edition is sold in three variants – XV MT, XV Turbo MT and XV Turbo CVT.

The Magnite is launched with two petrol engine options 1.0-litre B4D naturally-aspirated petrol and 1.0-litre HRA0 turbo-petrol. A 5-speed manual is available as standard, while the turbo unit gets the choice of a CVT (with torque output revised to 152Nm).

As the name suggests, the Magnite Red Edition gets some exterior elements like a grille, scuff plates and red-coloured inserts on the front wheel arches.
