Hyundai Ioniq 5


South Korean automaker Hyundai sells its only electric SUV Kona in the Indian market. Hyundai’s second EV offering, the Ioniq, is expected to debut in November after it was spied testing again last month. The Ionic has been spotted testing near Hyundai’s Chennai plant. Hyundai has offered the Ioniq 5 with two battery pack options: 58kWh and 72.6kWh, with a range of 384km and 481km respectively. Its features list includes integrated dual 12.3-inch infotainment and a head-up display, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control and a driver’s display. The price of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 can start from Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom).
Jeep Grand Cherokee


Jeep, known for its off-road SUVs, is all set to launch its new Grand Cherokee. The luxury SUV will make its way into the country via the Completely Knocked Down (CKD) route and will be priced competitively against its rivals. The India-spec fifth-gen Grand Cherokee will come with a 2-litre turbo-petrol engine (the base-spec engine from the carmaker), which will be mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The new Grand Cherokee will include a digital driver’s display, a phone charger, a 19-speaker Macintosh sound system, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an optional infotainment screen for the front passenger, and a head-up display. 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee to start at Rs 85 lakh (ex-showroom)

Toyota Innova Hycross


Toyota is going to launch a new avatar of its MPV Toyota Innova in India very soon which has been named Toyota Innova Hycross. The Innova Hycross was recently spied testing. The Toyota Innova Hycross will come with only a petrol engine. The Innova Hycross will feature a 2-litre petrol engine supported by a strong-hybrid system (over 190PS combined). Its features list will include a digital driver’s display, ventilated front seats, a touchscreen infotainment display, a sunroof, wireless phone charging, a 360-degree camera and connected car technology. The prices of the Innova Hycross are expected to start from Rs. 20 lakh (ex-showroom).
MG Hector Facelift


Soon MG Motor India is also preparing to update its popular SUV Hector and introduce it in the market. MG’s facelifted Hector may also be launched in November. The picture of the front face of the SUV has been revealed with the grille of the new design. Engine options include a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and a 2-litre turbo-diesel engine. Features include a seven-inch driver’s display, electronic parking brake, Bluetooth, sunroof, Android Auto, ADAS technology and Apple Car Play. A 10.4-inch touchscreen infotainment panel with support is included. The price of MG Hector Facelift can start from Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom).
Maruti Alto K10 CNG


Maruti had confirmed a while ago that the sale of the CNG variant of the recently launched Alto K10 would start soon. It will get a 56.7PS 1-litre petrol engine (in CNG mode) mated to a five-speed manual transmission, the same setup found in the Celerio, which is rated at 35.6km/kg. The Alto K10 CNG should have the same feature list as the standard petrol engine. The CNG variant is likely to be around one lakh more expensive than the petrol variant, starting at Rs 3.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
