Indian market giant Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched its first C NG car Toyota Glanza C NG. It has been brought in the Model S and G options. With this photography has been added for photography’s sake. Let us tell you that the booking of the Toyota Glanza CNG car was already started and it is also the first car of the company to run on CNG in India. Apart from this, work on Toyota’s Highcross model is also going on and it can be introduced soon. Along with the launch, the company has also started booking this car.
Toyota Glanza CNG Engine and Transmission
The Glanza CNG shares its powertrain with the Baleno, which also recently got a CNG option. The Glanza CNG has an ARAI-claimed fuel efficiency of 30.61km/kg. It is powered by an 1197 cc engine which is available with Manual transmission. The 1197 cc engine produces 76.43bhp@6000rpm power and 98.5Nm@4300rpm torque. Its engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission and an AMT unit.
Toyota Glanza CNG Exterior
Talking about the exterior design of the CNG model, it gets a wide and sharp horizontal chrome bar with an accented upper grille. The Toyota Glanza CNG comes equipped with LED fog headlamps with light-sensing capabilities. LED tail lamps have been given in the rear of Glanza.

Toyota Glanza CNG Interior
The interiors of the Toyota Glanza CNG model get dual tone with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment screen. The vehicle features a leather-wrapped steering wheel and comes with Toyota i-Connect support that offers features like Service Connect for remote check and control, vehicle safety and security and vehicle health and fault indicators.

There are no rivals for the Haider CNG, but we are expecting the Maruti Grand Vitara to offer the same powertrain soon. Meanwhile, the Glanza CNG only competes with its sibling Maruti Baleno as no other premium hatchback offers a CNG option to date.

Toyota Glanza S CNG has priced at Rs. 8.43 lakh (ex-showroom) and the Toyota Glanza G CNG is priced at Rs. 9.46 lakh (ex-showroom).
