The cheapest electric car in India so far is the Tata Tiago EV, which has been brought for Rs 11.79 lakh. At the same time, MG Motors is also working vigorously on AIR EV to counter it. However, leaving all this behind, Mumbai-based start-up PMV Electric is all set to bring an affordable electric car, the EaS-E. This is a Mumbai based electric vehicle startup company which has announced that the company is going to launch its electric car on 16th November. It is also being called India’s cheapest electric car, as it will cost Rs 4 to 5 lakh. This electric car of PMV will be a micro electric car like Tata Nano. Work on this electric car of PMV was going on for years and now finally this electric car will be launched in the market. At the same time, despite being cheap, tremendous range is going to be seen in it.
PMV EaS-E Battery and Range
The PMV EaS-E is designed to perform daily tasks. The specifications of the PMV Ease-E are yet to be revealed, but it will feature a smaller battery pack. It is claimed to offer a range of 160 kms along with a top speed of 70 kmph. Talking about charging, a 3 kW AC charger is being given in this car, due to which the battery of the vehicle can be charged in less than 4 hours. PMV EaS-E electric car can be launched with three different variants.
PMV EaS-E Exterior

The PMV EaS-E looks sporty and cool with its full width LED running lights, round LED headlights and car-like front grille. It has a sloping shoulder line and the wheels are pushed to all four corners for a squat stance. Talking about the rear part, it has a black colored rear glass area. The LED DRLs flaunt the same design as the ones at the front. The small but beautiful design can be seen on the 13-inch alloy wheels. The Ease-E is almost 200mm shorter in length and 350mm narrower than the Nano.

PMV EaS-E Security Features

Because it’s a quadricycle, the PMV EaS-E is not required to comply with the standard safety regulations that all new cars are required to comply with. Details will be revealed at launch, but we are not expecting it to be equipped with dual airbags, ABS and for that matter, even crumple zones. However, it gets rear parking camera and front disc brake.
PMV EaS-E Features
Although it is only an electric quadricycle, it does not compromise on features. The Easy-E gets LED headlamps, keyless entry, AC, an LCD instrument cluster, OTA upgrade, steering-mounted controls, a Bluetooth-enabled audio system, power windows, remote parking assist and cruise control. You can also access multiple remote functions like unlocking/locking, windows, AC, lights and horn operation.
PMV EaS-E Price
On these parameters, we are expecting the PMV Ease-e to be priced between Rs 4 lakh to Rs 5 lakh (ex-showroom).
