Czech Republic’s leading automaker Skoda has finally taken the wraps off its electric SUV Skoda Enyaq iV. This SUV was introduced by the company as a concept at the Geneva Motor Show last year. This SUV will be launched for sale by the end of this year or early next year. This is the second electric car introduced by the company. This Skoda car is equipped with many great features. In terms of range, it beats many existing models. As far as the size is concerned, the new Skoda Enyaq iV is smaller in size than the Octavia sedan but it gives you better space inside the cabin. The company has given a crystal face grille in this SUV, which is being seen for the first time in this segment. 130 LEDs have been used in this crystal face, which is taken from the concept version itself.
Driving range and engine
The new Skoda Enyaq iV electric SUV has been introduced by the company in the market with different configurations that also offer different power outputs with different driving ranges. Its entry level Enyaq 50 iV generates around 146 bhp power and 220Nm torque. A battery pack of 55 kWh capacity has been used in this. The company claims that this base variant offers a driving range of up to 340 km and a top speed of 160 kmph. At the same time, the second variant which is the most powerful generates 302 bhp power and 460 Nm torque. It has a top speed of 180 kmph and this SUV is capable of accelerating from zero to 100 kmph in just 6.2 seconds. Apart from this, the SUV is also available with 62 kWh and 82 kWh battery packs that offer a driving range of up to 390 km and 460 km respectively. The most powerful variant of this SUV is the Enyaq 80 iV, which offers a driving range of up to 510 km on a single charge.
Charging Time
As far as charging is concerned, the company claims that this SUV gets charged up to 80 percent in just 38 minutes. For this a fast charger of 125 kW will have to be used. Apart from this, the company is also providing an 11Kw wall charger with this SUV, which takes about 6 to 8 hours to charge the SUV with this charger.

Like the existing range of new Koda models, the Enyaq iV shares the distinctive design DNA of being well built, handy and practical. The striking Matrix LED headlights at the front and a set of standard LED taillights add to the dynamic look of the Enyaq iV. For an added bit of premium zing, all models get chrome framing and crystalline hints around the grille. The length of this electric SUV is 4,649 mm, width is 1,879 mm and height is 1,616 mm. Its wheelbase is 2,765 mm, while the boot space is 585 liters.

Skoda has always been admired for its approach to designing spacious, well-built interiors. When you step inside the Enyaq iV, you’ll find tons of high-end content. aluminum brushed decorative inserts; Fabric/artificial leather upholstery; And the two-spoke leather multifunction steering wheel makes the car strong and reliable. Everything from smartphone mirroring and climate control to the charging status of the car can be controlled through the display. The SUV will have a boot space of 585 liters, a 13.0-inch central touchscreen and a head-up display with augmented reality.
Launch and price
The Skoda Enyaq iV is expected to be launched by the end of this year or early next year. In terms of pricing, the Skoda Enyaq iV is expected to be priced at Rs.60.00 Lakh (ex-showroom).
