The popular electric car Nissan Leaf to be launched in India soon

The market for electric cars in India is continuously growing. New explosions are taking place in the world of electric vehicles every day. New electric vehicles are being launched. Due to the ever-increasing prices of petrol and diesel, people are turning to electric vehicles. Due to this, the sales of electric vehicles have increased more than three times this year as compared to last year. In this episode, Japan’s popular car company Nissan is preparing to launch its first electric car Nissan Leaf in India soon and its testing is also going on for a long time. Amidst the bumper sales of electric cars in India, Nissan is also preparing to give tough competition to cars like Tata Nexon EV and MG ZS EV.

Nissan Leaf Battery, Electric Motor and Range

The Nissan Leaf is powered by an improved electric motor that produces 150PS of power and 320Nm of torque. Compared to its predecessor, it has 38 percent and 26 percent more power and torque respectively. The new 40kWh battery pack achieves more power capacity without increasing its size. This translates to a 67 percent increase in energy density compared to the 2010 model. Even though the powerplant packs more oomph, the lithium-ion battery offers an estimated range of 400km.

Talking about the look and features of the upcoming electric car Nissan Leaf in India, then this electric car will be premium to see. The exterior of the Nissan Leaf electric car gets LED headlights with automatic on/off, fog lights, body colored front, rear bumpers, chrome door handles, sports look and wide options for body color selection. Keeping in mind the safety point of the car and for easy access, the front lock and light for easy access have been provided in the charging point for easy access. The best feature of this car is the rear spoiler which gets a photovoltaic panel to supply additional charge to the battery on the go.

Nissan Leaf Interior

Although it is clear that Nissan is trying to be as effective as possible in order to make it more affordable. The interiors of the Nissan Leaf Electric Car feature premium-quality upholstery and superior quality fit and finish. The car also gets utility features of bottle holders and boot space to store heavy items. The interior is well tailored with comfortable seats. The rear seats have enough space for passengers to feel comfortable during long journeys. Black cloth comes standard in both the trims. The LEAF S comes with gray finishers and the LEAF SV Plus comes with gloss black finishers. In addition, the vehicle has best in class cargo capacity.

Nissan Leaf Feature

Furthermore, the Nissan Leaf promises to be one of the safest cars. Safety equipment includes Intelligent Lane Intervention, Lane Departure Warning, Intelligent Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Intelligent Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection and Emergency Assist for Pedal Abuse.

Launch and Price

The Nissan Leaf electric car will be launched in India in late 2022 or early 2023. Talking about the price, the price of an electric car in India will be around 30 lakhs.
