Skoda Kushaq Engine and Transmission
The updated Skoda Kushaq gets you two petrol engines: a 1-litre, three-cylinder unit (115PS and 178Nm) and a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged unit (150PS and 250Nm). Both engines are mated to a six-speed manual transmission, in which the 1.5-litre petrol engine also gets a seven-speed DCT, while the 1-litre petrol engine also gets a six-speed torque converter.

The Kushaq can be offered in three broad trims: Active, Ambition and Style. The Monte Carlo and the new Anniversary Edition are based on the top-spec styling trim.
Skoda Kushaq Exterior
The Kushak gets a major update in the form of a new headliner as well as a tire pressure monitoring system as standard. At the same time, the 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels given earlier and the 16-inch alloy wheels in the mid variant remain intact. You also see some sharp lines in the body, large wrap-around LED tail-lights, a larger wheelbase of 2,651mm and a roof-mounted spoiler. The sportiness of the face is further enhanced by the sporty-looking bumpers with very sharp edges. At the rear, a roof-mounted spoiler adds to the sense of sportiness. Wraparound LED taillights and reflective elements add to the width of the SUV. It comes with a boot space of 385 litres.


Skoda Kushaq Interior
On the interior, the new Skoda Kush now comes equipped with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Kush-style version had an 8-inch touchscreen unit due to the absence of an earlier semiconductor chip. The sporty seats, contrast stitching and a completely sporty look can still be seen in the cabin.

The Kush features an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, connected car technology (10 inches in Anniversary Edition and Monte Carlo Edition), an 8-inch digital driver display (Style and Monte Carlo), single-pane sunroof. Ventilated front seats, six-speaker sound system with subwoofer and wireless phone charging. In terms of safety equipment, the Kushaq gets six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and a rear-view parking camera. Hill-hold controls and electronic stability controls are limited to the top-spec variant.
