The market for electric vehicles is growing very fast and if we talk about electric SUVs, then there are only two such vehicles which are most visible on the roads. The first of these is the Tata Nexon and the second is the MG ZS EV. Recently the mid-life facelift model of MG ZS EV has been launched. MG ZS EV is about 50 to 70 thousand rupees more than the old model. Now with this increased price, this vehicle is giving you some more features along with more range and its battery range will also be better. The new MG ZS will be equipped with the newly developed MG iSMART connectivity system.
MG ZS EV Electric Motor, Range & Battery Pack
Now in terms of battery and range, the ZS now has a bigger battery pack with a 50.3 kWh battery pack. The company claims that on a single full charge, it can go up to 461 km. The electric motor generates power of 176PS. MG has also said that it will introduce 1000 AC Type 2 fast charger in residential areas across India, while there will be 5 ways to charge the car in total with the onboard charging cable. The battery has an 8-year warranty.

MG ZS EV Exterior
Visually, the new ZS is still a ZS from every angle, but it gets more EV credit thanks to the closed grille at the front. The charging port which was under the big MG logo has been moved to the side and the new bumpers are the most prominent revision. The sleek headlamps that now get LEDs with metal accents add a bit more drama. The larger ‘electric’ badges still sit proudly on the fenders and the changing of the windmill design for the wheels gives a sharper look that is more in line with the times. The rear is now clean and crisp too, thanks to the revised bumpers and angular tail lamps.

MG ZS EV Interior
Talking about the interior of the MG ZS EV, it looks quite fresh and the interior will be seen giving a completely new look. The ZS EV feels a lot more technical than before, with bigger digital real estate and a logically laid out dash. The highlight is the 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment display on the center console, though the 7-inch digital instrument cluster is well executed as well. The rear is quite comfortable. You have good knee room and ample headroom (the sunroof eats up a bit here), but the seats are comfortable.
MG ZS EV Features
The featured kit includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7-inch digital driver display, panoramic sunroof and powered driver seat. The facelifted SUV also gets a 360-degree camera, connected car tech, rear AC vents and a wireless phone charger. Passenger safety is ensured by six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control and Hill Descent Control. It misses out on the ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) seen on the Aster, but has been provided with driver assistance technology that includes blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.
MG ZS EV Rivals
The ZS EV competes with the Hyundai Kona Electric. It can also be considered an indirect rival to the Tata Nexon EV, which sits a segment below the ZS EV.
MG ZS EV Price
