The country’s leading SUV vehicle maker Mahindra & Mahindra is preparing to introduce an electric version of its popular SUV XUV300 in the Indian market. The Mahindra XUV300 electric version has been awaited for a long time. This electric car was first showcased by the company at the 2020 Auto Expo. But, due to covid, its launch is getting delayed continuously. Now the company has made it clear that the Mahindra XUV300 EV will be launched in the Indian market between July and December this year.

Mahindra XUV300 Electric Car Design

Talking about the general design, the Mahindra Electric XUV300 will be almost identical to the XUV300, although the company has made some changes to it.

Mahindra XUV300 Electric Exterior

Talking about the exterior of the Mahindra XUV300 EV, it is quite different from the previous XUV300. The Mahindra XUV300 electric vehicle will get a closed grille at the front. The car is expected to be equipped with high-quality headlights that appear to be borrowed from the future, along with eye-catching fog lights and fog light housing, which were featured in the concept but may not be present in the final product. can. Mahindra XUV300 EV will also be equipped with special LEDs.

The Mahindra XUV300 electric car will feature new high-quality alloy wheels. Additionally, the car may get blue accents to give it an electric avatar. Their design has been made better than before with some changes in the bumper. Like the previous car, this car does not have a front grille but the bodyline graphics have been changed a lot. In general, the exterior of the car will have a sporty appearance and this will make it the best choice for fans of the SUV.

Mahindra XUV300 Electric Interior

The interiors of the Mahindra XUV300 electric car will be very attractive, with all modern capabilities with a large touchscreen at the centre of the car and a charging port at the front.

The cell phone charger will be of wireless type. The cameras will replace the ORVMs (outside rear-view mirrors) of this model, though not all variants of the production-spec vehicle will have ported cameras. Cameras may be available on the highest version of the vehicle, but ORVMs will not be left out.

Mahindra XUV300 Electric Range & Battery Pack

Mahindra XUV300 Electric will come with two battery options – long-range 60kWh and standard variant 40kWh. Its long-range variant will be able to travel up to 375 km on a single charge, while the standard variant will give a range of up to 200 km. The latter is powered by in-house developed Ziptron technology which includes a 129PS permanent magnet AC motor and a liquid-cooled 30.2kWh lithium-ion battery system.

Mahindra XUV300 Electric Features

The electric Mahindra XUV300 will include a variety of features. One of the features offered is dual-zone climate control. Both electric and gasoline-powered XUV300 cars come with a sunroof and connected car features. Mahindra XUV300 EV comes with all the necessary safety features that a modern vehicle should have. This will include front and rear airbags. Its wheels will be of excellent quality and will also have excellent grip.

However, it is too early to say anything about the pricing of the Mahindra XUV300 Electric ahead of the launch. But experts believe that the company can launch it for between Rs 15 to 18 lakh. This will be the first made-in-India electric SUV that will be imported to European and other global markets.
